When I got started, I wasn’t getting where I wanted to be as a photographer/videographer. I was having trouble standing out on social media because of how big some of the creators were which also meant that I wasn’t closing any new clients.
So, I went back to the drawing board and started thinking, “how can I separate myself from these big social media creators and bring something new to the table that a lot of creators aren’t doing”.
And that led me to discover cinemagraphs/living pictures, that had a high demand in the market since most photographers either didn’t know about them, or didn’t know how to create them.
That gave me an opportunity to target brands because I stood out from the rest of the photographers and allowed me to close several high ticket contracts.
After 7 years of working with brands, influencers, content creators, and marketers, I decided to share my insights with other photographers.
I saw the trends of the big brands and I know what it takes to stand out from your competitors.
I’ve realized that most photographers don’t focus on the results they need to get new clients, but rather are focused on what everyone else is doing. It’s about how you can help others in a different way because there are already a lot of “photographers” with a DSLR… well at least who claim to be one.
